This film is small part documentary and large part concert movie, but it also seems to be something completely new. The 3D elements that James Cameron brings are spectacular and sure to leave audiences breathless.
For those that did not attend the tour, this is a way to see Billie Eilish perform a lot of her hits, and for those that did, ‘Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D)’ gives them a small behind the scenes look and some up close and personal time with the artist, while allowing them to relive the best moments of the show.

The story told is about Billie Eilish’s love and connection with her fans. It becomes very clear that she knows she is where she is today because of them. Some artists take this for granted, but she hasn’t. She has been there herself – a fan who has so much love for an artist, the don’t know what to do. And that is what drives her to perform even on her worst days.
It is touching to see the way that she appreciates her fans, and the way that they love her. Their bond shines through every song, every shot, and every moment, thanks to the brilliant direction and storytelling from James Cameron. It is extremely touching and heartwarming to see.

The song choices range from high energy to intimate and low key, which was a very smart choice. We get to see everything that Billie can do from all different angles of the arena. It really feels like a concert experience, but at the same time, like nothing else we have ever seen before.
